Hey there, fellow bookworms! Today, I'm going to share my all-time favourite fantasy books with you, like I do shove my recommendations down all my friends throats! If you're a fan of enchanting worlds, magical adventures, romance that actually gives you blushing butterflies and characters that stay with you long after you've turned the last page, here's your list. So, grab a comfy spot and let's dive into my top 10 fantasy books and why I adore them!

1. "A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Maas

First up, you knew this was coming right? We have the stunning "A Court of Thorns and Roses." The way Sarah J. Maas weaves a tale of fierce characters, breath taking, and might I add spicy, romance, and a captivating world in Prythian is absolutely mesmerizing. You won't be able to put it down and you won't ever want to leave!

- "To the stars who listen, and the dreams that are answered'

2. "Throne of Glass" by Sarah J. Maas

Sticking with our Queen, Sarah J. Maas, "Throne of Glass" is another unbelievable series. Celaena Sardothien, a bad-ass assassin, and a high-stakes competition will keep you on the edge of your seat. This series is all about powerful women, adventure, and oh-so-good romance. Following multiple characters stories through the series, all at different times, makes it always fresh.

- "To whatever end"

3. "Harry Potter" by J.K. Rowling

No fantasy list is complete without the beloved "Harry Potter" series .I grew up with this series, watching releases on the news! It was a worldwide phenomenon, and its feels like home. The magical journey from the first page to the last. Hogwarts, Hogsmead, the Burrow and all the wizarding wonders are simply unforgettable and will always be one of my favourites.

4. "The Witcher" by Andrzej Sapkowski

"The Witcher" series is a dark and gritty fantasy that's full of morally complex characters, monsters, and political intrigue. Ok, so to be open with you guys, I started these after season one of the TV programme, and couldn't bare not knowing what happened, and also being able to put Henry Cavill's face on the character made it even better. Geralt of Rivia is the ultimate anti-hero, and you won't be able to resist his adventures.

5. "Caraval" by Stephanie Garber

"Caraval" is like falling into a dream. It's a magical carnival where nothing is what it seems. Stephanie Garber takes you on a wild, spellbinding ride that'll keep you guessing until the very end. I was confused, but in a way I knew I should be confused. There are 4 main characters, and the spin off series "Once Upon a Broken Heart" is also included in this recommendation. Legend and Jacks are both in my Top Book Boyfriends.

6. "The Plated Prisoner Series" by Raven Kennedy

Raven Kennedy's "The Plated Prisoner Series", starting with "Gild" is a King Midas and his gold touch retelling, but in this story, Midas is not the one with the power, its our little goldfinch Auren. Amazing world building, intricate politics, heartbreak, and with morally grey characters and incredible character development, it's a must-read.

7. "The Cruel Prince" by Holly Black

Reading "The Cruel Prince", feels like a fairy tale I read as a little girl, so whimsical and imaginative. The story follows our main character Jude, who is a human girl, living in the Elfhame, the land on the fae. With political schemes, flirtatious romances, and trying to survive in a treacherous court, she falls for her biggest enemies. Holly Black's writing is pure enchantment, and would recommend this YA series to all.

8. "Fourth Wing" by Sage Webb

"Fourth Wing" is a breath taking story following Violent, as she attends Basgiath, a War college with DRAGONS. Need I say more? If that hasn't sold you, the politics, the slow-burn and twist will have you waiting on the next instalment, "Iron Flame" to be released. The world-building and chaotic scenes are really immersive, and the characters will steal your heart. This one is an absolute gem.

9. "From Blood and Ash" by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Jennifer L. Armentrout's "From Blood and Ash" is pure fantasy escapism. It has a fiercely independent heroine, swoon-worthy romance, vampires and gods and a plot that'll keep you hooked.

10. "Zodiac Academy" by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti

Lastly, "Zodiac Academy" is a captivating blend of magic and intrigue, set in a school for the twelve zodiac signs. It's a bully romance, with a unique take on a fantasy world with a slow burn, enemies to lovers, spicy romance and a whole lot of adventure.

So there you have it, my top 10 fantasy series that have filled my world with enchantment and adventure. If you haven't dived into these worlds yet, I strongly recommend you give them a try.
